[fpc-pascal]undefined reference to __ctype_b and __ctype_tolower

Hi.   I was able to successfully compile fpc programs on Red Hat 7 
after compiling libvga from source.

On Red Hat 9 I used the latest rpm which I got from the Red Hat site.  
It fixes the libvga not found errors but gives me undefined references 
to __ctype_b and __ctype_tolower.

I'm wondering if others are successful on Red Hat 9.  Do I just need to 
go back to the source for libvga?  Or do I need to go back to Red Hat 
7?
