[fpc-pascal]IDE Error:"Can' open fp_____.err

hi everyone!

i'm new to fpc but used to program in bp7.
after installing fpc i tried to compile a simple 'Hello, World!' Program
from the ide, but i only got the error message:
Can't open fp____.err

my system is NT4 SP6a german, target win32
i had no problem using the comand line ppc386.exe on the same source so
it seem to be an ide problem.
can anyone give me a hint how i can get this up and running?
