computers (faster recompile means faster bug-fixing), but this is a
downside. Anyway I think a 10% increase in speed would be ok.

That last thing is not a drawback in my situation, as I compiler the
compiler without debug information, but do want debug information for
all (other) units, including the RTL. I have to rebuild the RTL anyway.
