True, but that is well before rc1 was branched. And it was part of a batch
of fcl-web updates.

I do such merges regularly, also between point releases(like between 2.6.2
and 2.6.4), the only exceptions are when existing functionality is totally
broken (e.g. a new, incompatible mysql version comes out) without it.
