It's a bit different: Sven spent a small amount of time with a working 
micro optimization of the compiler shaving of maybe 2% compilation time 
while he could have done boring work on a manual :P

And I'll leave unicode string issues to others while playing around with 
the register allocator sounds interesting. But before that I'd want to 
fix that annoying "compilation aborted" bug when recompiling the 
compiler without "-B"...
