Macro wants feedback, well here is some... I fully agree with Martin.
Please revert such code breaking changes in the STABLE 2.6.x release!

When I (and many other FPC users) update our 2.6.x to the latest
"fixes" commits, we don't expect breakage! Breakages belong in TRUNK
only.
