Hello,
I've been testing the 1.0.6 prerelease, and to be more exact: Free Pascal
Compiler version 1.0.6-beta [2002/03/12] for i386 on a Redhat Linux machine.
According to changelog and documentation, the config file may now be called
fpc.cfg (in the current directory) or .fpc.cfg (in a users home directory).
This does not seem to work on my system: If I use the old name (.ppc386.cfg in
my home directory) it works fine, but if I rename this file to .fpc.cfg or to
fpc.cfg, the compiler doesn't load it anymore.
Otherwise, it seems to work like a charm.
Hope this helps to straighten out the last few quirks,
Cas Cremers
