Usually you are bashed for
* your repeated insistence on TTimer and thread usage in non-gui applications.
* for insistence on websockets and a continuous connection between browser and server.
I can well imagine that if you brought either of these up in a discussion
about web programming, the whole of your proposals was 'bashed'.
But I could be entirely wrong, obviously. I don't remember every discussion
on the mailing lists in the last 20 years.
In each case, what TMS Software has accomplished is something I have been
working towards since 10 years. And that goes beyond just pas2js, but the whole
web stack, new reporting engine, PDF engine etc: The goal is full stack web development
with FPC/Lazarus, in all its aspects.
If you share the same vision: great!
Michael.
