[Pas2js] Funding for Widget sets and IOT driver library.

 Hi Guys
> As you personally can testify, we have delivered on the last project you sponsored.
I agree, our sponsorship of self-compiling Pas2JS was very productive for us (and hopefully for you and others as well.)  We have got this code integrated into our Xide project now and are working on beautifying it so that hopefully by sometime in January we can put up a decent demo.
On the question of support for widget set development, we want to see these include the option of layout using horizontal and vertical Layout boxes with alignment options and percentage sizing where relevant so they will work with responsive design. If this is on the agenda then I am happy to contribute some funds as soon as a call for support is published on the foundation web site. Hopefully this will allow us to consolidate on the best aspects of the different projects?
As far as new sponsorship is concerned I am keen on seeing progress on Pas2JS “Internet of Things “ support. Google has launched an embedded Android for IOT. This has a useful interface library (the NDK) that can be called from Native code. (See links below) and runs on the RPi3. Perhaps we could develop some wrappers for this C/C++ library? Or maybe others can suggest a better option? In either case I will happily contribute (cash and effort) to a project in this general area if others agree.
Regards Steve
(P.S.) W.R.T. AndroidThings, I am not sure how well the Lazarus for Android project is going, but we have run earlier versions of Xide on both Android and RPi3 and are now testing the current version on them. Hence Lazarus may run on this platform, or alternatively we can develop on a different platform and deliver the functionality using a hybrid solution based on Pas2JS, Cordova and the Xide run time. I expect that this will be slower than a full native solution but is still good enough for many purposes?

There are 2 ways to sponsor:

1. A general contribution.
This is how we have financed (partially at least - the largest part till
now came from personal funds) the development of pas2js, including the
    new anonymous function support.

2. Contribution for a specific project.
As you personally can testify, we have delivered on the last project you sponsored.

If you want the latter form, we do need to know and agree on a specific project which
can be sponsored. I will then publish it on the foundation website so other people can
sponsor it too if they want.

Michael.

As far as the keylogger: lol, I should hope not!

As far as being motivated by Pas2JS: I've suspected that might be the case.
For now I'll just keep waiting patiently I suppose...
