If not possessing both light and dark backgrounds and use of ample
whitespace, I'd like to know how Nikolay sorted these web pages into
good and bad sets.

Thanks for your info on whitespace regarding content prioritization,
skim reading, Calls To Actions, responsive design and structure and
navigation. It all made sense.
