*BSD is the same as Linux.

It has its purposes, but it is not suitable for the main repository of FPC.
And actually, if I had not used git, the patches would be already in trunk
because I would be forced to clean up my working copy. With git I just
commit unfinished stuff to a branch and forget about it. It is not a
technical thing but just a matter of mind :-)
