I don't know, and actually don't care. :-) What I want to use it for is
purely for installation/config style applications. The user will be
in-front of that machine - in our scenario. Other users have also
requested DirectFB support, to use fpGUI on some mobile linux devices
that don't have X Window install - though I know nothing about mobile
devices so I can't comment on pros/cons of those.
Side note:
Talking about "old style" console applications. Last week I was on leave
and dug around in my garage. I found a crate of my old original
software. Boxed sets of Turbo Pascal 6, Turbo C++ 3, Windows 3.1, OS/2
2.1 (CD-Rom version), OS/2 Warp v3 (diskette version (55 diskettes to be
exacty!)), OS/2 Warp Connect v3, OS/2 Warp v4, Visual Age C++ for OS/2
etc... Wow, all those old software brought back good memories. :-)
