I've found the problem, and now it's compiled and linked properly. It's just a
matter of missing required libraries.
I did this effort without an official permission from the original author.
Because I thought that v.2.5.3 still remains as an open source project and only
the later becomes commercial. However my thought was wrong. Today my permission
request to convert FlexCel v.2.5.3 to FPC got reply from the author (Adrian
Gallero). The main point is he doesn't allow me or other developers to do
anything with v.2.5.3 source code. Just leave it there as it is, he said in his
email to me. He seems to be disappointed by the previous license (freeware with
source) to know that along this year he only got 4 clients who pay for FlexCel. :(
But, I also got a good news about FlexCel. Next release of FlexCel (still on
TMS) will natively support FPC and should be able to be run on any platforms
supported by FPC because it only uses native pascal code. Still, FlexCel ain't
gonna be an open source project. FlexCel license is just like other TMS' VCL:
free for non-commercial purpose without source code. :(
So, I ask to everybody who already got the modified source code from me, please
do not distribute it further. You may keep it as personal collection but you're
not allowed to redistribute it to other people. I'm sorry.
For any kind of help regarding this effort, I thank you very much. :)
