Thanks for those linsk Matt. I've used SDL quite extensively and consult
the SDL documentation (in C) when I need help. I probably take it, there
aren't many users of FPC (on this mailing list anyway) that use SDL ...

(Don't think I'll be registering a yahoo account, yuck :P I have one too
many, msn account)
