[fpc-pascal]Lazarus issue: FORMS not found.

Hi,
My question is lazarus related, and I've sent it to lazarus ml,
but meanwhile I thought it is rather compiler-related.
The problem is that the most simple project fails to compile with
a message about FORMS unit not found. This happens the same way
from lazarus IDE and when I start FPC myself. Yes, I've checked
that -Fu option points to lcl/units directory containing compiled
units (from lazarus zip). So, it looks like fpc somewhy refuses
to see/use them.
I'm new to FPC, any hints appreciated.
(Both fpc and lazarus binaries for linux downloaded yesterday)
