[fpc-pascal]FPC 1.06 and AS.EXE???

I am trying to figure out a way to get the 1.06 Win32 installation to also 
compile Linux binaries.  I've downloaded the compiled units from the Linux 
package and put them in the correct directories, and I also have the source 
installed.

I'm trying to compile a hello world program and it cannot find 
as.exe.  I've done some web searching and found nothing.  Is this 
possible?  If so, where can I find as.exe?  I looked around in the docs and 
didn't see anything mentioned about compiling for other platforms.  Any 
help would be greatly appreciated.
