[fpc-pascal]strange problem

What is the name of the file and the directory? Windows has certain 
"reserved" characters that don't work in file/directory names. It could 
merely be a problem character that gets eliminated when Windows creates 
the 8.3 filename for the DOS directory you're referring to.
