Don't think so. Yes, Qt is a C++ library and therefore it is not
possible to link directly against the Qt library.
I personally can only give the advice to just use GTK instead; using Qt
is not easily possible and will be quite painful. (as Qt is more a
complete framework with classes for almost everything, while GTK
concentrates on GUI stuff.)
