For that purpose I prefer mailing lists. They also have the advantage
that in my (old) Thunderbird I can delete all messages of no interest,
whereas I can compress newsgroups only based on the time of a
contribution. But that's just a very personal argument.
I also think about opening another blog, as for the Lazarus drag-drop
project. It would allow to document ideas and encountered problems, so
that I don't have to open and follow dedicated threads in another
newsgroup or list. See http://dodi-lcl-dragging.blogspot.com/ for what
you may expect to find in such a blog. And also find out how many people
added comments to my articles - for some reason I only can see
questionmarks or Chinese glyphs :-(
