Obviously, I don't know for sure what kind of device you talk about.
However, if it is related to BlackBerry mentioned in your signature in
some way (which may be supported by the fact that e-mail service is
specifically well supported on BlackBerry), I'm afraid that you are on
wrong track.

First, no currently existing version of FPC supports BlackBerry out of the
box right now. Depending on the particular version you would be interested
in, getting such support working may be feasible with some effort, but it
would certainly require using some other device as development machine at
least for the start and it would not be a task for a complete novice.

Second, if you cannot ensure download from the FTP server (e.g. using the
installed WWW browser or connection to some desktop machine to which you
would download it first), it would be very difficult for you to perform
any kind of development on such a device.

Obviously, I may be completely wrong with my assumptions and you may be
referring to some absolutely different type of embedded device, but at
least the second part would most likely still apply.
