Dear Michael!
Remote X is done using X-forwarding
ssh -X your_name at your_raspberry
Your raspberry requires minimal set of Xlibs installed.
Typically I test i386-compiled application from i386 build-host (where
i'm at x86_64), because I dislike chroots.
