Fine with me: let's kick all those complicated utf-8 and utf-16
encodings and just use utf-32 for the unicodestring type, it's very
simple to use, no platform is prefered over others, normal PCs have 8
GB+ today so memory is not an issue anymore neither is CPU power. Clean,
simple, easy.

And who implements it? The public votes as well?
