Trunk (i.e. 2.5.1 and higher) should be build with the latest stable 
release (i.e. 2.4.2) AFAIK.
Unless this has changed in the documentation, which I frankly haven't 
read for some time.
There's good reason for that: trunk is by definition unstable.... Until 
otherwise proven and then it becomes stable, if you follow me..
