It's not just one person. Lets just take the Rectangle type/structure.

* Delphi has it's own (based on Windows TRect - how original)
* fpGUI has it's own: TfpgRect
* MSEgui has it's own: rectty
* AggPas has it's own: rect_ptr, rect_d, rect_i
* KOL probably has it's own too
* ... pretty sure there are more....
