The Git mirror has also been updated with the rc1 tag. If you are
already using the Git mirror, your next 'git pull' will automatically
get the new tag which you can checkout locally.

If you want to start using the Git mirror, you can clone the FPC (trunk
& fixes branch) via the following command:

  $ git clone git://github.com/graemeg/freepascal.git


Alternatively, if you don't use Git, you can also download a source
tarball in .tgz or .zip format from the following URL:

  http://github.com/graemeg/freepascal/downloads
