Yes, that is what I meant. Microsoft knows before anybody what will be
the next *great* thing in .NET and C# language. They have the upper
hand on anybody else developing tools for the .NET framework and C#
language features.

Mono might beat them by allowing the .NET framework to run on multiple
platforms, but Microsoft controls the features.
