I do plan to create some tutorials about technical details of modules,
but for specific things like that I advise you to join the official
apache-modules mailling list, for modules developers, and ask there:

http://httpd.apache.org/lists.html#http-modules

Or search the archives of that list. Because althought I translated
the headers, I am not yet familiar of all details of modules.
