[fpc-devel] OT Free Pascal on open source conventions

Hi,

Today, like in the past 5 years, there was an open source convention
in Israel called August Penguin, promoted by a non profit organisation
called Hamakor (translation: "the source")
http://hamakor.org.il/english.html .

Last year I was one of the people who helped organized that
convention, and I tried also to enter FPC to that convention.

This year, the main theme was about the education of schools and
universities. And it was really hard for me not to hear about FPC at
all.

Anyway, for next year, how would you think I could promote FPC better,
and is there any convention that FPC by default prompted or at least
displayed ?

What can I use in order to promote or display FPC for next year ?
While this is way to early to ask, but will any of FPC core developers
will be willing to give a lecture about FPC ?

Are there any other places in the world (I remember last year Brazil's
big open source conventions) that does conventions such as this ?

I hope to get some answers regarding the topics I raised above.

Thanks,

Ido
