So why did you do:

-   {$IFDEF KYLIX}
-     gfloat = single;   //  Don't know why, but some routines requires this
-   {$ELSE}
-     gfloat = double;
-   {$ENDIF}
+   gfloat = double;

If you weren't using KYLIX, nothing has changed :S, shouldn't that be:

+   gfloat = single;

?
