[fpc-devel] Abbrevia test suite

Has somebody ever tried to run the Abbrevia tests, in
Abbrevia/source/dunit, under Windows?

I got so many errors that I could not yet run the tests to completion
:-(
One obvious error was an attempt to copy and delete an file prior to
closing it, more errors may have similar reasons. In this case somebody
had commented out the try/finally block, whose finally clause contained
the required OutFile.Free call.

I don't know whether the tests succeed on other OS? It would be nice to
have working test code, since this certainly is a reusable part of the
Abbrevia package. What now?
