I'll add a filter so that all mails containing "nigiria", "Nigeria" or
"NIGERIA" (these guys like to spam in ALL CAPS a lot of the time) require
approval before getting posted to the list.

The previous wave of those spams was blocked because they didn't contain
the list's address in the To or CC field.
