I was told that this is the same situation as with JBuilder: The first
version is based on old technology (i.e. the old Win32 IDE), and Kylix
1.0 will be used to develop the next version.

It doesn't make sense to discuss this here, as we'll have to wait for
the first release. The version which was presented on Systems still was
based on Wine, but looked quite good; I can only say what a Mr. Ua
(strange name?) told me yesterday...
