Free Pascal wrapper unit to interface with the FreeImage Project Library, an open source project that can be used to display and manipulate numerous picture types (Jpeg, Png, Gif and many others).
The FreeImage project is cross-platform (Linux, Max-OS X) and so is Free Pascal, but I have only tested it in Win32.
 
Included in the .zip file are an example (win32 executable and all the sources.
