Hmm yes. Reading 
https://www.freepascal.org/docs-html/3.0.2/prog/progsu105.html you can 
define other non-delphi extensions for the Delphi mode (like 
NESTEDCOMMENTS).

Maybe it would be more clear to name the modeswitch 
TYPEHELPERINHERITANCE and don't bind it to delphi mode?
