One thing that needs to be considered about FireMonkey and similar 
"application internal Widget Sets" is that they don't integrate well 
with the (potentially customized) current Desktop layout - other than 
VCL or (most) LCL Widget types, that rely on the target system's widget 
set.

So the (cross-platform, ) application looks identical everywhere. Is 
this what everybody wants ?
