Hi,

Please continue this discussion on the fpc-other list. Long arguments about how easy or hard it is to read or write long expressions (or about how hard it is to understand other people's explanations of this), the difficulty of typing certain characters, etc are not about the development of FPC.

Please try to limit discussions on this list *mostly* (note: not exclusively) to actual problems encountered while working on the FPC project's code base (or related programming issue). As a nice side effect, such threads also have less of a tendency to flood people's inboxes.

If a side discussion evolves from that, please try your best to keep those short (and especially do not send messages with the intention of heating up the discussion further just to prove your point).

Discussing new features are obviously also related to FPC development and can also be on topic. However, as soon as these evolve in to large "yes - no" discussions (which they often do), please move them to the fpc-other list so that they don't drown this list.
