FPK already answered, but that is a faq, and the faq has some more

The above opinion might change if Longhorn might actually ship, actually be
as much .NET as said, and the users actually start using it en masse.
(not expected before 2007 IMHO)

But even then, a .NET <something> is a new project, not something for inside
the FPC project.

This also goes for other Delphi related projects IMHO.
