<p style="padding:0 0 0 0; margin:0 0 0 0;">Hi,</p>
<p style="padding:0 0 0 0; margin:0 0 0 0;"> </p>
<p style="padding:0 0 0 0; margin:0 0 0 0;">you can use PChar, or string+retype to PChar in blockwrite:</p>
<p style="padding:0 0 0 0; margin:0 0 0 0;"> </p>
<p style="padding:0 0 0 0; margin:0 0 0 0;"> BlockWrite(f1, PChar(s)^, length(s)); </p>
<p style="padding:0 0 0 0; margin:0 0 0 0;"> </p>
<p style="padding:0 0 0 0; margin:0 0 0 0;">which gives expected result.</p>
<p style="padding:0 0 0 0; margin:0 0 0 0;">V.</p>

Comments?<br />
<br />
I've built in workarounds in my program to solve both of these issues, <br />
but it'd be nice if I didn't have to do that.<br />
