I mainly hope the wiki will survive :) Is there a way to temporarily put mediawiki in a static/read-only mode if necessary?<span class=""></span><br></blockquote></div><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">The wiki can be put in read-only mode by changing the $wgReadOnly variable in the LocalSettings.php file.
