<pre>My software accesses a site, downloads a page and makes clipping ... and the site/connection fails quite often ... without configurable timeout it is not very user friendly ...<br /><br />I'll try with thread ... I don't have any idea of what is going to happen to connection (fphttpclient.get) if it is in a thread and I kill the thread ... well ... I don't even know if it is possible to kill a thread!!! ... I should study all that stuff ... I may not kill the thread too ... just forget it after a while and just inform the user ..<br /><br />Later I'll check synapse ... I liked fphttclient because my need is very basic and it fits very well!!! ... just missing time out configuration!</pre>
