[fpc-pascal] Installing FPC 2.4.4 for Ubuntu / Mint + other thoughts

Usually, in situations like this, one just installs a meta package with a package manager.
The meta package is just a list of required dependencies, and downloads other packages as needed.

I installed this one.
http://packages.debian.org/sid/fpc-2.4.4

Easy&  painless.


Also, the Debian package is dated May-23, the date of the release.
