[fpc-pascal]mouse unit (linux)

Hello,

I tried the mouse unit under linux.
I can poll all mouse events, but the mouse isn't shown on the screen.
Also the command "ShowMouse" doesn't seem to do anything.

The mouse cursor vanishes with InitMouse and appears again with
DoneMouse.

Is this a known bug?
What can I do?

I use fpc 1.0.4 and gpm 1.17.8 on a Debian potatoe.

P.S.: I didn't want to use the unit GPM directly, because I want to port
the program to Windows later.
