Then, maybe an interface to the (hardware dependant) packetdriver would
suffice. IIRC the packetdriver interface is defined by Novell.

One could also try to check the network part of SWAG(www.gdsoft.org or .com)
 SWAG is pretty old, and might have Novell interfaces here and there.
