Hi,

there's an update to my CPU package[1] available. From the news:

- CPU is now rel2rev20 adding detection of Intel's Hyper Threading
Technology and IA64 processors, and CPU model detection for Transmeta,
Cyrix, Intel and AMD CPUs.

Get it from http://members.yline.com/~tom_at_work/index.html or
alternatively directly from
http://members.yline.com/~tom_at_work/cpudist.zip (70kb)

Happy new year btw.

Regards,
  Thomas

[1]: CPU is a cpu detection and timing unit for x86 processors. It is able
to detect most of your host processors' capabilities and characteristics.
Includes features like support for the different new instruction sets,
special instructions, processor specific features, clock speed and rating,
vendor, type and version information, serial number and the like. Includes a
platform independent microsecond timer.
It is completely compatible to the original CPU and MMX units provided by
the free pascal compiler.
