By submitting bug or regression fixes.

Trying to improve my patches and not ignoring suggestions how to improve it.

Follow coding style. Most big OSS projects have a coding style, if you
don't follow your patch will be rejected. Basic rule of OSS contribution.

No. FPC is driven by volounteers. You can create your own roadmap and
wishlist and work on it, no more no less.
