It's probably better to ask this on either the Lazarus mailing list 
(http://lists.lazarus-ide.org/listinfo/lazarus ), or possibly the 
regular FPC mailing list 
(http://lists.freepascal.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fpc-pascal ).

This list is mainly about developing the Free Pascal Compiler itself.

Also make sure to mention that you are not subscribed to the mailing 
lists, so people know they have to CC you if replying (although I guess 
in a case like this, most people will reply off-list anyway).
