BTW: As it was discussed a while ago this does not work so well with Lazarus due to some "optimizations" they do with when a reference is decremented. With some tricks however it seems that we are on our way to get it to work under Lazarus as well.

    Hmm... it looks almost one to one copy from our code in Version 4.0 of our libraries ;-) . Are you one of our customers, or you have simply come with the same idea as us?
