So you mean "the meaning of 'STDCALL' needs to adhere to the toolchain

This of course is true (but not that closely depending on the OS itself)

OTOH the other message in this thread resulted in the knowledge that the 
preservation of the "thumb" flag (that of course under the hood also  is 
pert of the ABI) does depend on the usability of the OS.
