Ummm, seems SourceForge.net only support read-only access via the git 
protocol.  This is not an issue with GitHub though - and where the FPC 
and Lazarus mirrors are hosted.

Maybe the firewall issue should be taken up with SourceForge.net so they 
can fix the problem.
