If you need one graph window and one or more forms or toolbars, 
I made some tests with Lazarus for an application with one graph window and one main form with commands and status informations. If you are interested I can send more informations.  

If you wish two or more simultaneous graphic windows I agree with Florian,
the graph unit has also a bug on bgi font displaying, 
but you could try with OpenGL...
